About the Brunch:
It’s time again for the local chapter of the American Culinary Federation’s annual brunch to be held at the DECC on Sunday, March 28th from 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 per person and the proceeds benefit Chum Food Shelf. This year the brunch will feature delicious creations from some of the best chefs in the region to include Grandma’s Restaurant, Northland Country Club and Savories Catering. Other Chefs from the Twin Cities also come up and support the chapter by helping in the kitchen before the brunch. Large, lavish displays of cheeses, salads and other appetizers will adorn the tables along with a scrumptious pasta station, numerous egg dishes, mouthwatering main courses and delectable desserts. The brunch is named in memory of Al Dumancus, one of the founding members of the chapter and longtime chef in Duluth who mentored many chefs that are still cooking today in the region. |
