Can you help me???
For the past 17 years, 500 area volunteers have been providing meals for 2000 people in need at the DECC on Thanksgiving Day. With the difficult economic situation of the area, this year the Thanksgiving meal is being expanded to 1200 home deliveries and two new satellite locations. These two satellite locations are in the cities of Cloquet and Two Harbors.
I know that the area chefs are involved in may community activities, but I am hoping that you have time on your schedules and room in your heart to help with two areas of need. First, we need your help on Tuesday, November 21st to help in the preparion of the Thanksgiving meal at the DECC. Second, we are looking for any area chef who would be willing to supervise heating the food at the two satellite locations on Thanksgiving Day. Any time you could volunteer would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me at 723-6785 or Pat Plys at you next meeting.

Ticket sales for Death By Chocolate are proceeding on pace-- they are @ 235 for boxes and 225 for the actual event as of 1:00pm on Friday 2/11.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that helped out during the Cooking is for Kids at the Hermantown Elementary School.
